By serving as a community anchor for over 65 years, Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church has played a large role in Southwest Erie. Throughout the years, we have served in many capacities–from mission trips to local events, we continue to be active in the following mission projects:
The Elmwood Food 
Pantry
Our food pantry serves community members through Second Harvest Food Bank.
We operate on the 3rd Thursday of the month, hours are 11:00 am till 12:30 pm. If you are hungry, call us. (814-864-4809) We would like to help!
Boundaries served are between West 20 to West 38; Cascade to Greengarden
Erie Free Store
Erie Free Store is exactly what the name says–a FREE store. From clothing to blankets, from h
ouse hold items to shoes, our assortment always changes. We have only three rules: Be Kind. Take What You Need. Pay It Forward.
We are open on Mondays from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm.
Donations are accepted on Mondays from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm when the Erie Free Store is open. We cannot accept any furniture or large electronics at this time. Check the Facebook page “Erie Free Store” to see what items are currently being accepted for donation or call the Church office at 814-864-4809.

Other Mission Projects
Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church keeps other ongoing mission projects, such as: Cellphones for Soldiers, Habitat for Humanity builds, and the Crop Walk. If you have an idea for a mission or outreach activity, please contact our Church office.
