Six of the Erie Area Presbyterian Churches have recreated their websites, with guidance from local website developer, Brad Ford. The project was identified as a need by several of these churches as we become more digitally involved every day. The new site offers a parent page, with updated information from any of the churches, as well as an individualized site for each church or congregation. Our goal in creating the new website is to improve accessibility and search engine results throughout the community. The new site can be found at www.presbyteriannetwork.com. A special thank you goes out to the technology committee from the small group Presbyterian Network and Lake Erie Presbytery.
“Per Capita” Giving: For those who wish to pay their Per Capita for 2017 ($29.50 per member) there are envelopes available on the table in the foyer. Your “Per Capita” giving supports many significant mission efforts throughout our presbytery and the world-wide Presbyterian Church. Please recognize that these gifts aren’t for administrative salaries or office expenses. Pray about your gift to our larger church mission efforts!

YES, it’s a big task (if you try to do it by yourself), but if you use the helpfulness of others, it is not overwhelming! If you’d like more information, please contact Kim Ragen (392-5831).
The Mission & Outreach Committee encourages these giving projects:
The One Great Hour of Sharing all-church offering was received last Sunday (Easter), but it’s not too late to turn your donation in for this historic offering that provides assistance to those in need around the world (war-torn refugees, poverty created by natural disaster, assistance to help some generate small businesses to support entire villages, etc.). We thank all who’ve already given to this important offering as we’ve collected $366.00 so far!
Continue to bring in canned goods and staples for our food pantry collections @ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and the City Mission! Receptacles in the foyer!
Men Needed! … to help honor all mothers at the Mothers’ Day Coffee Hour, May 7, after worship. Please sign up in the foyer to assist with set-up, clean-up, serving, shopping for necessary refreshments, etc. Simply sign-up and you will be contacted with instructions.
The One Great Hour of Sharing (http://onegreathourofsharing.org/) all-church offering will be received on Easter Sunday (4/16). Return all “fish” banks. There will also be special OGHS offering envelopes available beginning Palm Sunday. This historic offering provides relief efforts to those in natural disaster, to refugees who’ve had to flee violence in their own civil war-torn nations, to those in need of education/micro-financing to strengthen
and develop their own agribusiness/starter businesses, to provide new and clean sources of water/wells, to provide health education/care for those in desperate need, etc. We want to respond to the needs of the world in a significant way—we’ve given over $400.00 on several occasions in the past, so let’s shoot for $450.00 this year! Pray about your part in this life-giving effort!
